Beginner's Knitting with Nancy Curtiss
Have you ever wondered how to knit a sweater or scarf? Come to the Farmpark to learn the basics of knitting and how to work with yarn to create whatever your heart desires. No knitting experience required. Participants will be provided with their own knitting needles and yarn to take home. Kit Fee of $15 payable to instructor is due in class.

Adults, here is your chance to ride and drive a horse in one program. Learn about grooming, tacking, riding, harnessing and driving a horse. Please note weight limit of 200 pounds.

Interested in beekeeping, want to learn how to keep bees & harvest your own sweet rewards. Beekeeper Dan Zikursh will introduce you to what you need to get started & tips to make beekeeping a success.

Guests will take a horse-drawn wagon ride while learning about the history and characteristics of the draft horses pulling the wagon. Enjoy wine while taking a tour of the Farmpark's equine stables and learn the history of horse breeds and how they are used on the farm. From there, the evening will continue at the Hilltop. Take in the view while enjoying appetizers. Dinner will consist of braised short ribs with pan sauce accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus (seafood and vegetarian options available). Each course will be paired with wine from a local vineyard. Finish the evening with New York-style cheesecake served with pomegranate sauce and fresh whipped cream and final pairing of wine. Casual dress is recommended.

*Refund Policy: A refund will be given if the Registration Department is notified by the participant at least 5 days prior to the start of the program/pairing dinner. Failure to attend the registered dinner will be considered a forfeiture of all materials supplied and money paid.

Enjoy a hike at the Farmpark with a miniature horse. Learn to safely lead a miniature horse. Participants under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult not required to register if accompanying child or children under 10, who are registered.

Pioneers and early settlers learned how to survive off the land, can you? Build a shelter, create historical crafts, make butter, plus many more activities. Camp also includes a field trip. Camp meets Monday through Friday.
